Highway Rest Stop Boxes - gasoline savers

From: morgunjp (morgunjp@yahoo.com) | Date: 2006-08-15 15:06:03 UTC

These boxes can be very difficult to find on LbNA or AtlasQuest.

Suggestion: Include the term "Highway" or "Route" or "Thruway" in the
box title so people can find it.

On a recent trip I missed the available boxes, since I could not find
them.

For example: Instead of the name "Knight's Errand Series", name the
boxes "Knight's Errand Series (Highway Rest Stops)".

These boxes can save gasoline, since you find them while traveling to
some other destination. Many rest stops have a forested area adjecent
to them where boxes can be hidden. Morgun

Morgun:

Have you tried the search function that will search the clues text? Yes,
it takes longer, but you might get a head start on your next trip. I use
that function to weed out boxes that I am afraid to look for. For
example, I'll search "poisonous snakes" to decide whether I'll risk my
safety for a letterbox. Try searching for the text "I-" ... you might be
surprised what you find.

PS - my apologies to all those planters who might have wonderful boxes
near poisonous snakes, water moccasions, lions, tigers and bears, oh my!
